COLUMBUS (AP) — The new year brings Ohioans a state income tax cut. The Ohio Department of Taxation says withholding from workers’ paychecks will be reduced 4.2 percent beginning New Year’s Day, reflecting the latest step in a phased-in 21 percent income tax cut that will be completed by 2009.
